He’s everyone’s favourite artist and one of the kindest personalities in the community. Meet the Shiba-loving Knight behind the loading screens and read his advice to aspiring artists!

Nationality and age?

I’m half-Thai, half-Japanese. Also my age is 18 (it will always be like this forever and will never get increased.)

How did you get into RotMG?

It’s been a long time since the WildShadow eras. I must have been bored and didn’t know what to play. So I randomly searched for games on a website and came across this game.

Favorite class, dungeon, and item?

Oh! Of course, I love knights very much. As you can see from some of my artworks, I always like to put him in there.

My favorite dungeon is Beachzone because it’s a peaceful place and I love the beach very much! And my favourite item is Soulful Affection, it’s the only in-game item that I love and really needed. Because it is a heart that expresses love and pink-ku.

Favorite character skin and/or pet skin?

Haha, I’m a big fan of Shiba! So of course it will have to be a Shiba Pet Skin! It’s so CUTE!

What tools do you use to create your art?

I create my artwork mostly with Photoshop and sometimes I create my artwork with Adobe Illustrator as well.

What was your first inspiration to draw art for RotMG?

The first impression I created was Oryx art. Of course, I really love this character so much. (Whoever’s not gonna love a big guy with his cool armor and helm, right?)

What piece have you enjoyed creating the most?

I definitely love every piece I create. And there is not an artwork that I like more or less because I love every artwork I create and enjoy them the same.

How do you come up with all the little details in your drawings?

It is difficult to explain. ’cause I just create artwork because I love to do it and enjoy what I do. Besides, it’s always been fun and challenging for me to create works that bring every boss or monster to life from the interpretation that comes out of my imagination.

Any advice for other digital artists out there?

I want to tell all the digital artist (and including all artists):

Whatever you do, the first thing is you have to be confident in what you do and brave to create such works. Because your imagination and abilities are the most important and one of the most important spirits in this game’s community. And for those who don’t know how to start you can always ask me. I’m always happy to give advice and tricks if you need them.

Oh! The most important thing is… don’t underestimate your own work and your own skills. Please be confident, because every artist has their own good different charms. As long as your work is created from the heart. And with effort – I believe that is always the most precious and beautiful work.
