Hello Realmers,
With today’s small update we bring two changes:
First, Totalia was spawning in a rather unintended way – she will now spawn 3 times 10 minutes after Realm creation.
Better news second, we have made some balance changes to the Schematic system. They will now be guaranteed to drop for one player from The Forgotten King and two from Oryx 3 and their drop rates have been increased from The Bridge Sentinel, The Twilight Archmage, Marble Colossus, Malus, the Void Entity, the Killer Bee Queen, the Beekeeper, Crystal Worm Mother, and the Crystal Entity].
The Schematic system was not intended by us to be a dedicated grind, but rather a thing that one accumulates on the side while doing Exaltation dungeons. The blueprints one can acquire from this system are meant to rotate back around at a moderate pace (not too quick so one is gripped by the fear of missing out, yet not too slow so if you miss a Blueprint, you’d not need to wait for a long time for it to return).
As you can see, we are still tweaking the system, so keep the feedback coming – feel free to drop a comment!
this is a horrible change please revert the totalia nerf
Cool because I was wondering if it only droped on fungal XD
it’s good if the schematics are rotating regularly.
maybe it would be good for there to be a tinkerer quest tab dedicated to trades like turning in schematics, shards, crystals of fortune, and other exchanges? it would make the event tab far clearer.
Please revert the Totalia “fix”, it’s less fun to have less options. and it’s just less fun in general. Kinda disappointing y’all have done this 2 times in a row with these “campaign events”. The change as it stands makes it harder for people complete the campaign and burns those that do complete it out. It would be nice to promote healthy amounts of play to completing the campaigns for the average player.
Ideally, making the drop rate 100% for stuff like f. king, o3, and crystal entity would make it an actual pity system for the sort-of failed pity system that is the blueprint. let’s say that you need 100 schematics to buy 1 endgame bp, and 150 for a super-endgame bp, which means you will need to run it’s dungeon 100/150 times, which should be the rate at which you get endgame whitebags, not 1 in a million.
TL:DR: don’t make the pity system for bad luck have a chance at dropping. it just makes it more of “get lucky or don’t”. giving 100% droprate would make it be more of “Not Lucky? just run the dungeon x amount of times and get the blueprint for that item”
maybe it’s worth it that Schematic would fall more than 1? maybe 5? and then 100 oryx per event is not funny, but sad.
What was your vision when you were creating the schematic system? Right now it seems targeted towards very endgame players who can consistently complete the hardest content in the game solo dozens of times a day. It feels very inaccessible to the average realm player (but my perception of average might be different from yours), so I’m really curious how the system was balanced prior to release, and what the targeted player demographic was, could you clarify either of these things?
Please make them guaranteed for up to ten people from O3
when weapon enchantments?
Reducing Totalia spawns was a horrible decision. PLEASE make more of the spawn again. Also I can’t believe you wouldn’t make the schematics guaranteed… it costs ONE HUNDRED of them! How much free time do you think I have to play this game??
Would you consider making o3 minibosses drop schematics?
Is there going to be more halloween legacy quest skins? because it hasn’t updated since the last thursday
I’m super excited for schematics implementation! I think its a great idea and gives everyone the ability to get good blueprints without feeling like a grind. The one thing I’m not certain on is how much time there will be between the available blueprints rotating. Depending on the time I might say that 2 stacks of items expected to be held on for long periods of time is inconvenient for players with minimal amounts of vault space. Personally I will not have that issue, but I feel like maybe there should be a way to exchange them in the tinkerer to place them in the gift chest once you get a full stack so its only ever taking up one space in the vault. Again, that only depends on how long the downtime is between blueprint rotation.
Good changes! Keep it up!
