Summoner Modernization
This weekend includes fixes for the summon power/statMod trade off enchantment, general balance tweaks, as well as some more varied Summon Costs for some UTs. Phytomancer ST Set
Alongside the Summoner updates is a brand new ST set for the class. The Phytomancer is a mage that is deeply entwined with nature having a particular affinity for plants. The Phytomancer’s main focus is summoning many small saplings that grow stronger in the presence of other saplings, allowing them to build an entire forest of trees that will deal massive damage to nearby enemies.
Razorthorn
A wand with a unique firing pattern, alternating between one and two shots before eventually firing a large burst of projectiles. The thorns fired by this wand bleed enemies making it a powerful option in lower dps investment builds.
Mace of the Woods
A mace that summons small saplings that act as stationary turrets. These saplings fire thorns at enemies while also leaving a field of leaf projectiles around them. When in the presence of enough other saplings all of the summoned saplings will grow stronger, incentivising building as much summon power as possible.
Leafweave Raiment
A robe very light on defense but carrying bonuses to the summoner’s magical capabilities as well as the healing power of nature.
Bud of Beginning
A ring that focuses on providing wisdom and MP alongside some hp and dex. Provides a long lasting stacking wisdom buff the more their ability is cast.
Other
Camera Position Fixes. We are testing fixes related to camera positioning. Please let us know if you notice any cases where the camera behaves incorrectly, feels offset, or does not properly follow your character. Screenshots would be really helpful. Related bug board entry.
Invisible Enemies Investigation. We are also testing changes related to invisible enemies. These changes may not fully resolve the issue yet, but they should help us narrow down what is causing it. If you still encounter invisible enemies during this Public Testing session, please report the dungeon, enemy, time, and any actions happening around the moment it occurred.
