How to Report Bugs
To report a bug to the community manager, please go to the discord server, and review the #rotmg-bugs threads to make sure it hasn’t been reported before. If there isn’t a thread, you’re welcome to create a new one.
Or via support ticket.
The more detail you give, the easier it is for the team to be able to reproduce and fix the issue.
Things that help a lot:
- Detailed description of the issue
- Where it happened (realm, dungeon, vault, etc.)
- Steps to reproduce it if possible
- Video / Screenshots
- Server / time if relevant
Super short “nuff said” reports often don’t give us enough to work with or will create a lot more back and forth, delaying the process.
What Happens With Your Reports
The community manager regularly reviews incoming reports, and shares them with the team for investigation. Support agents have a similar process with the reports they get via support ticket.
This board is basically a window into that process, and it should keep improving over time.
This is new, so it only has some recent bugs right now. It’s not a full list.
We’ll keep building it out together with your reports, please don’t expect to see every single issue in there just yet.
We’ll be running this for the next few months while we evaluate how useful it is for the community, and decide based on that whether it’s something we keep long-term.
