- Removed Paralyze/Stun/Slow/Dazed immunity from most enemies.
- Fiendish Bailiff no longer armor breaks and deals less damage overall.
- Probation Wraith shots have 20 less damage.

- Omnipresent Superintendent has less invulnerability on half HP.

- Administration Branch propaganda has a smaller chance to display rare variants.
- Administration Branch enemies have slightly reduced base HP.
- Most branch starting rooms have a failsafe to prevent enemies from leaking through.
- Groundskeeper Gretch’s shovel phase has reduced AOE sizes to more accurately reflect the indicator size.
- Soulwarden Murcian’s roulette phase now has the sound effect cue re-added for when the roulette is about to stop.
Miscellaneous Gameplay Changes

- Lord Ruthven Deux has his proper minions and behaviors restored.
Item Balance Changes
Ability Use Discount Nerfs
Ability Use Discount items have largely dominated ability builds and make it difficult to balance around statmod boosts so we are reducing their effectiveness around the high end to encourage more build diversity.
- The Twilight Gemstone: 20% (from 30%)
- The Twilight Gemstone (Rehearsal): 15% (from 20%)
- Robe of the Mad Scientist: 15% (from 20%)
- All Syndicate Attires: 10% (from 15%)
Coral Ring, Ring of the Sphinx, and Kagenohikari were left unchanged as of this time.
Expert UT Buffs
Command Cornea has found little success due to its anti-synergistic nature of self-quiet and we have decided to remove this and allow for more frequent use of the item:
- No longer quiets self on use.
- Cooldown reduced to 1.0s (from 5.0s)
- Overall scaling reduced by 25%
Sinister Syringes has been killing its users too effectively.
- HP Cost per shot is reduced to 3 (from 5).
Wretched Rags has been changed to be a more effective On-Shoot proc scaling item:
- ATT reduced to -10 (from +0).
- DEX increased to +15 (from +5).
Vigor gets a few more spirits now. We’re still adjusting this item’s power level after the recent changes to Spirit Staff.
- Festival Spirit Rate increased to 5% (from 2.5%)
Dusky Catalyst has long been the odd-one-out from the Shatters weapons, so it has received a number of improvements and a rework to its shot pattern.
- Dusky Catalyst deals a similar amount of DPS to before.
- Defense ratio is reduced to 1.5 (from 2.0, this makes it slightly better against armor).
- Shot range increased to 8.0 tiles (from 7.2 tiles). With the pattern change, this is actually a much more significant range increase.
- Dusky Catalyst now has a 5% ability use discount, allowing Wand classes to slightly offset the nerf from Gemstone.
- Dusky Catalyst no longer Silences self while In Combat.
- Dusky Catalyst instead reduces Wisdom by 10 while In Combat.
Beehemoth Armors are getting some uniquely flavored stat bonuses to match each different color. Expect a similar change to the quivers in a future update!
- Yellow: DEX increased to +3 (from +0).
- Red: VIT increased to +8 (from +0).
- Blue: WIS increased to +5 (from +0).
- Green: Max HP increased to +60 (from +0). VIT decreased to -5 (from +0).
We recently did an internal refactoring of errors and found that Unstable Firework’s code needed to be rebuilt. In doing so it was a good time to refresh the item and make it more appealing.
- Unstable Fireworks should shoot significantly faster, shooting the same number of projectiles in half the time.
- Damage is shifted more towards the center firework instead of the more unreliable outer explosions.
Manor Priest Set Refresh
We’re refreshing the Priest set from Manor of the Immortals to better fit in with the expected power level of items in this tier of content. All items (except for Tome of Purification) received significant buffs. You’ll also notice some new sprites!
- Forge Dismantle Value is now 30 Common.
- Forge Craft Value is now 120 Common.
- Feed Power normalized to 700.
- XP Bonus normalized to 6%.
St. Abraham’s Wand is a very comfortable long range weapon and we want it to continue doing that job but better:
- Raw DPS equivalence increased to T11 (from T8).
- Defense ratio is reduced to 0.9 (from 1.0, this makes it slightly better against armor).
- Shots start fast and slightly decelerate towards the end of the 10 tile range.
- Shots have a 20% larger hitbox.
- VIT/WIS bonus stats increased to +5 (from +4).
Chasuble of Holy Light has an appealing stat spread and just received a baseline buff.
- Max HP / MP increased to +30 (from +20).
- DEF increased to +12 (from +10).
- VIT / WIS increased to +6 (from +5).
Ring of Divine Faith can now be considered a sister ring to Experimental Ring which we think has the right stat spread for this level of content.
- Max HP / MP increased to +60 (from +40).
- VIT / WIS increased to +6 (from +5).
