As you know, we have delayed the release of the Ice Citadel. This weekend, you will be able to have a first look at the rework. Your feedback is important so make sure to leave it on our Discord channel!

Long ago, the Runic Tundra Tribes flourished as a beacon of ancient magic and knowledge, their icy cities etched with glowing glyphs that hummed with arcane power. But their legacy was shattered during the Great Ice Age, when the Frost Harbinger descended with his legion, bringing ruin in a war that scarred the world. In the end, only one noble survived: Esben, who fled to his remote citadel buried deep beneath the frozen earth. Millennia passed, and Esben, untouched by time but frayed by solitude, began whispering to shadows that answered back. In his isolation, he conjured a wife, Ase, a phantom of longing and madness. As his sanity crumbled, Esben used the last of his runic magic to craft a family from darkness itself—figments of love, fear, and forgotten memories—forever haunted by echoes of a world lost to ice.

The Ice Cave reconstruction is finally here and ready for you to take on in this weekend’s public testing session! At the top of the nexus, three Ice Citadel portals will spawn every 90 seconds. Take on this fresh look of Esben and the new Blizzard effect to prevent Esben’s madness from corrupting the realms! Be sure to leave your feedback in the #testing-feedback channel of our official Discord!
Blizzard
Blizzard is a new effect added with this dungeon. Staying away from a heat source will slowly begin to build up frost, reducing your player’s speed. Once frost reaches its maximum value, your character will begin to quickly lose health, so be sure to find a heat source quickly!
