During the weekend of the Season 21 Public Testing, some of you discovered and asked about the power of the Premium Artifacts and their monetization. In this post, we’d like to clarify the function of these Artifacts and our plans for their distribution.
Like all other artifacts, these items have a 50% chance of consumption, so they are consumable items that improve your chances of enchanting a specific item. Since there are many enchantments to roll through, we want you to have plenty of access to Artifacts, including non-premium ones.
We had 3 of these Artifacts in the plans: Premium Silver Card, Premium Gold Card, and Premium Diamond Card. Each of them can raise the minimum tier of enchantments rolled with the Artifact while also adding a rate increase to the Unique/Awakened enchantments, which are the rarest and strongest enchantments to get for an item.
Premium Silver Card
- Minimum T2 enchantments
- 1.8x weight of Unique and Awakened enchantments
Premium Gold Card
- Minimum T3 enchantments
- 2.6x weight of Unique and Awakened enchantments
Premium Diamond Card
- Minimum T4 enchantments (This is the highest tier of enchantment)
- 3.4x weight of Unique and Awakened enchantments
Many of you raised significant concerns about the power of the Diamond Card, which can guarantee a top-level enchantment. After the Public Testing, we collected your feedback and decided to remove the Premium Diamond Card from the game. The Gold and Silver cards will be sold through Mystery Boxes. We plan to distribute many Silver cards for free through various event offerings like Missions or the Battle Pass.
We thank you for providing us with the necessary feedback to address the topic with this game-changing update. Delivering an update of this scale requires a lot of input from the community, which is why we will continue hosting testing sessions around new features to make sure your voices can be heard and that we can improve the process in any form that the game needs.
