Realmers!
Season 19 has arrived and with it the Ninja Rework. Jump directly into our newest Event, fight the Clown in the Realm, collect rewards, turn in your tokens, and collect all the shinies! The Oryx Carnival Event introduces a new Realm Encounter, a new dungeon modifier, and several new rewards.

Our new Event will show you the best parts of a Circus. The following things are available during this Event:

Carnival Clown
This Clown as expected is riding a Unicycle while juggling balls. While not the tankiest of enemies, watch out for his speed.
To fight this Clown, search for Jester Boxes in the Realm, fight enemies near them and fill them up. Once full the Clown will appear!
Jester Boxes can spawn in the following Biomes:
- Coral Reefs
- Sprite Forest
- Haunted Hallows
They spawn at different Realm Scores.
The Carnival Clown will drop 3 Circus Tickets guaranteed, but also have a chance to drop a new “Class Clown” Title, the new Event UTs and 8×8 Emotes.

Be the focus of the party! Stand in the moving spotlight and receive buffs.

Ninja Modernization
The Ninja class has received a modernization, including sweeping updates to all Shuriken abilities in the game. While the Ninja enjoys significant endgame potential, we want to ensure the experience of building and playing this class is fun and rewarding for all levels of players. Beyond adding Wisdom Mod and Stat Mod to all Shuriken abilities, you’ll see a number of reworks to the design of Shuriken.
Tiered Shuriken
- Shuriken now gain bonus damage on the Shuriken projectile with Wisdom.
- Shuriken now apply a DEX Boost while you are holding the effect, modified with Wisdom.
- Shuriken projectiles now hit multiple enemies.
- Shuriken projectiles have a redesigned game feel, with updated speed, range, and hitbox adjustments. (hitbox size adjustment tech may be used for future endeavors)
Non-Tiered Shuriken
- All UT and ST shuriken gained some type of stat-based scaling damage.
- The following UT and ST shuriken gained new on-hold effects:
- Spider Shuriken (SPD Boost)
- Storied Blades (ATT Boost)
- Star of Enlightenment (DEX Boost)
- Daybreak Chakram (DEF Boost)
- Crystalline Kunai (ATT Boost)
- Invocation Scroll (VIT / WIS Boost)
- The following UT / ST shuriken now have reworked attacks:
- Daybreak Chakram
- Crystalline Kunai
- Hanagasaku
- Midnight Star received a full rework to its functionality.
- Raijin Disciple ST set bonuses received a rework to encourage use of Daybreak Chakram’s DEF scaling.
New Shuriken
- Igneous Starblossom now drops from Lair of Shaitan, and is a year-round available reskin of Hanagasaku.
- Combcutter Kunai now drops from The Nest, and is a year-round available reskin of Storied Blades.
Updated Art
- Sprite art has been revamped for the following items:
- All tiered Katana
- All tiered Shuriken
- Chief Beisa’s UT set
PT Fixes
- Kagebooshi has the proper stats now.
- The following changes will come in a future post-release hotfix:
- Sprite adjustments to high-tier katana and Beisa UT set.
- Midnight Star SPD scaling minimum from 70->65.
- Rage Claws tooltip scales correctly.
- Helm of the Jack-o’-naut will now properly count as a Realm White in forge.
- Esben’s Shattered Heart no longer incorrectly displays the Umi icon.
- Rusted Barrel now correctly shares Plague Poison’s damage.
Fixes
- Fixed Key Fairy not spawning in the Cursed Library after defeating the Boss.
- Carousel Promos won’t change in the background anymore when one of them is being pre-viewed.
- Crucible stat changes won’t affect stat maxing in the Potion Vault Storage.
