These ores appear across the map and can be mined using different pickaxes, when broken, they drop loot! Each pickaxe can break ores of its own tier and any lower-tier ores. and Heroes Rate Increase<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After spending some time observing the effects of Biome Score we have some new rates that should help you farm the encounters you really want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adept Encounter spawn rate increased from 25% to 40%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Veteran Encounter spawn rate increased from 35% to 60%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heroes of Oryx respawn timer decreased from 10min to 5min.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are now on average 4 more Heroes in the Deep Sea Abyss per Realm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are now has the sound effect cue re-added for when the roulette is about to stop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous Gameplay Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we have some smaller gameplay changes to various enemies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Added an extended flashing effect to the Cavecrawler Maggot before it charges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bunnypedes now drop Greater Health and Magic potions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elder Sprite Tree no longer displays a boss health bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bartenders in the Pirate\u2019s Tavern no longer toss rum grenades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shady Sect Leader no longer walks out of the center of the room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monstrous Grizzly boulders no longer Daze and have a slower toss time and increased radius.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lord Ruthven was missing a dagger attack that is now present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lord Ruthven Deux has his proper minions and behaviors restored.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Item Balance Changes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ability Use Discount Nerfs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ability Use Discount items have largely dominated ability builds and make it difficult to balance around statmod boosts so we are reducing their effectiveness around the high end to encourage more build diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Twilight Gemstone: 20% (from 30%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Twilight Gemstone (Rehearsal): 15% (from 20%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Robe of the Mad Scientist: 15% (from 20%)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All Syndicate Attires: 10% (from 15%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Coral Ring, Ring of the Sphinx, and Kagenohikari were left unchanged as of this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expert UT Buffs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Command Cornea has found little success due to its anti-synergistic nature of self-quiet and we have decided to remove this and allow for more frequent use of the item:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No longer quiets self on use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooldown reduced to 1.0s (from 5.0s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overall scaling reduced by 25%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinister Syringes has been killing its users too effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>HP Cost per shot is reduced to 3 (from 5).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Wretched Rags has been changed to be a more effective On-Shoot proc scaling item:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ATT reduced to -10 (from +0).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DEX increased to +15 (from +5).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Vigor gets a few more spirits now. We\u2019re still adjusting this item\u2019s power level after the recent changes to Spirit Staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Festival Spirit Rate increased to 5% (from 2.5%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dusky Catalyst has long been the odd-one-out from the Shatters weapons, so it has received a number of improvements and a rework to its shot pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dusky Catalyst deals a similar amount of DPS to before.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defense ratio is reduced to 1.5 (from 2.0, this makes it slightly better against armor).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shot range increased to 8.0 tiles (from 7.2 tiles). With the pattern change, this is actually a much more significant range increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dusky Catalyst now has a 5% ability use discount, allowing Wand classes to slightly offset the nerf from Gemstone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dusky Catalyst no longer Silences self while In Combat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dusky Catalyst instead reduces Wisdom by 10 while In Combat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Beehemoth Armors are getting some uniquely flavored stat bonuses to match each different color. Expect a similar change to the quivers in a future update!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yellow: DEX increased to +3 (from +0).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Red: VIT increased to +8 (from +0).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blue: WIS increased to +5 (from +0).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Green: Max HP increased to +60 (from +0). VIT decreased to -5 (from +0).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We recently did an internal refactoring of errors and found that Unstable Firework\u2019s code needed to be rebuilt. In doing so it was a good time to refresh the item and make it more appealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unstable Fireworks should shoot significantly faster, shooting the same number of projectiles in half the time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Damage is shifted more towards the center firework instead of the more unreliable outer explosions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manor Priest Set Refresh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re refreshing the Priest set from Manor of the Immortals to better fit in with the expected power level of items in this tier of content.
