This week we are going to introduce you to a new member of the Realm of the Mad God team! Our new Community Manager, Acalos! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IGN, Nationality and Age?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My IGN is Deca_Acalos, I am 28 years old\/young. While originally born in Berlin, I am now living in Hamburg Germany. (A \u201cMoin Moin\u201d to all my fellow Hamburg players.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your job? Tell us about it.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I am a new Community Manager here at DECA Games. I am responsible for the communication between the company and you, the players as well as content creation on social media channels. You could sum all that up to one word. Communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any hidden talents or hobbies?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Talents not so much. I have to admit that I am a giant Harry Potter Fan which my avatar might have spoiled already. So when I am not gaming, I am spending a rather unhealthy amount of time in the Harry Potter universe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doing what? Reading? Watching the movies? How did you get into it?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Both actually! They were the first longer books that I read when I was younger. They always opened a way into another world for me. We all have our weird hobbies, and mine is reading Harry Potter Fanfictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Favorite music, movie and book?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Well. Movie and book obviously Harry Potter. I have read the books and watched the movies in both German and English countless times. I am more into documentaries than actual movies.
Regarding the music question. I listen to nearly everything, except German folk music. I am currently listening to a lot of In Flames and Nightwish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did you end up on DECA?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I have a background in Community and Product Management. Over the years, I realized that I prefer to work closely with a community and be in touch with them. While I joined just a week ago, I am looking forward to getting to know the community better. Did you play RotMG before?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I played RotMG several years ago but unfortunately not that long. Therefore I have to learn a lot of things to fully understand the community. I hope to improve my knowledge over time. I am now actively playing RotMG when I have the time for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What other games do you play?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My private life and also work background is heavily influenced by MMORPGs. I mainly play World of Warcraft and Path of Exile in my free time. I usually try out every new MMORPG on the market to stay up to date with new things. I do not touch single-player games. I don’t enjoy them. The only single-player games I have ever played and finished are Gothic 1,2 and 3. But that’s a German thing I guess. On a side note, my absolute favorite game of all time is the first Guild Wars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have pets? Show them!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My wife and I have a little Australian Shepherd Mini. She is roughly 2 years old and full of energy. She is really good at sleeping all day as well tho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
